Attorney Hercules 

Tiana Hercules is an attorney who is passionate about helping every day members of the community fight for their rights while walking them through a complex legal system. Mrs. Hercules focuses on criminal law, family law and administrative appeals, as well as civil litigation and business matters.

 

Tiana is an experienced advocate who represents her clients zealously in the courtroom and in an arbitration setting. Tiana is admitted to practice within the state of Connecticut and before the United States court in the district of Connecticut, and is an active member of the CT Bar Association.  

She attended UConn Law School and emphasized her studies on criminal law and procedure. Mrs. Hercules was active in the Public Interest Law Group where she represented clients who could not afford legal counsel.

 

She was also an active member of the Black Law Students Association(BLSA). During law school she participated in a dual degree program at the University of Connecticut School of Business where she was awarded an MBA. 

 

Before law school, Mrs. Hercules attended Connecticut College where she obtained a B.A. in Government and Sociology. While attending Conn, Mrs. Hercules honed her advocacy skills as a leader on campus involved in student government and volunteer activities. Tiana always aspired to become an attorney. During her tenure at college she was awarded distinction in her major, and a number of accolades for community service. 

 

 

 Upon graduating from law school, Tiana was a staff attorney at the Center for Medicare Advocacy for four years where she successfully litigated administrative appeals. 

 

Tiana is an active member in her community and serves on several non-profit boards; NINA, The Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford, Inc., Hartford Food Systems and Girls for Technology, Inc.  

 

In her spare time, Tiana provides pro-bono legal representation and serves as a mentor to high school students.

 

Before starting her own practice, Attorney Hercules served the City of Hartford as an Assistant to the Mayor, and worked with the US Attorney's Office overseeing an anti-gun violence initiative.  

 

Tiana is looked upon as a positive role model and enjoys any opportunity to speak to young men and women about working hard to reach their goals. 

 

Tiana is a dedicated wife to her husband Meschac and mother to two wonderful boys, Meschac Jr. and Kaiu.
